Finally a finished painting! I have been experimenting a lot lately. Really paying attention on my paint strokes. I have been vacillating between painting realistic controlled strokes or looser, painterly strokes. That seems to be my challenge lately. So, when I started this subject my thought was I would be more controlled (similar to my earlier fan and peppermint still life paintings). That was not to be, I just started painting and let the "back road" take me where ever it wanted and I had a blast.
I decided to include a progress image.
