I don't have much to say about why I painted this. I guess I just liked it. I have been concentrating so much more on my technique and style, that I don't really notice what I paint.I'm starting to drift back to a more realistic approach. I guess I just have to go with what's natural.
You do have great technique! It is so hard to do the really loose style, when you are natural tight. This is a beautiful piece, with some lovely brush work!
Very pleasing contrast and balance between neutral and bold colors.
